Napo Amazon Lodge specializes in sustainable jungle tours and expeditions along the Arajuno River in Ecuador's Amazon region, as well as providing tailor-made itineraries and private services throughout the area.

By booking with Napo Amazon Lodge, you agree to adhere to the following terms.

Your booking is confirmed once Napo Amazon Lodge receives a deposit or full payment. Upon confirmation, you will receive a booking confirmation email containing essential details within 24 hours.

Cancellation policies, booking terms, and payment conditions are outlined in our comprehensive Booking, Payment and Cancellation Policy. Please review this document carefully before confirming your reservation, as different cancellation terms apply to tours and private services.

We strongly advise and encourage the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance. Travel insurance provides coverage for unforeseen circumstances that may arise before or during your trip, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss or delay, and other unexpected events.

By obtaining travel insurance, you safeguard yourself against financial losses and mitigate risks associated with travel disruptions. While we take every precaution to ensure the smooth operation of our tours, having travel insurance offers an additional layer of protection and assurance.

Napo Amazon Lodge is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, including cameras, electronic devices, clothing, jewelry, and valuables, during the tour or at the lodge.

It is your responsibility to safeguard your belongings at all times and to ensure that they are securely stored when not in use. Limited safe storage is available at the lodge reception upon request.

While every effort is made to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests, Napo Amazon Lodge will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or other irregularity resulting from:

• Force majeure or any other event beyond our control, including weather conditions, river conditions, natural disasters, or epidemics
• The actions or negligence of any third-party service providers, including transportation companies, guides, or local operators
• Your failure to comply with instructions, safety guidelines, or travel documentation requirements
• Changes to tour itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational reasons beyond our control

While engaging in activities organized by Napo Amazon Lodge, you must recognize and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with Amazon jungle expeditions. These include exposure to wildlife, insects, tropical diseases, adverse weather, rough terrain, river navigation, physical exertion, and altitude changes.

By booking with us, you accept these risks and agree to release Napo Amazon Lodge from any liability for medical emergencies, injuries, illnesses, allergic reactions, or health complications arising during the tour.

Before your trip, we strongly advise you to:

• Seek guidance from a medical professional
• Obtain necessary vaccinations (Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A/B, Typhoid as recommended)
• Obtain antimalarial medication as prescribed by your doctor
• Disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies upon arrival
• Ensure you are in good physical condition for jungle activities

In the tragic event of death during the tour, Napo Amazon Lodge bears no responsibility for circumstances leading to the demise. The estate and heirs of the deceased hereby release Napo Amazon Lodge from any claims or liabilities. This release holds legal weight and applies comprehensively.

As a guest of Napo Amazon Lodge, you agree to respect and adhere to all environmental conservation guidelines set forth by local authorities and our guides. This includes:

• Refraining from littering or leaving any waste in the jungle or river
• Not damaging vegetation or collecting plants, flowers, or wildlife
• Not disturbing, feeding, or attempting to touch wildlife
• Following guide instructions regarding wildlife encounters
• Respecting indigenous communities and their territories
• Using reef-safe and biodegradable toiletries
• Minimizing noise and respecting the natural soundscape

Napo Amazon Lodge reserves the right to terminate your participation if you fail to comply with these guidelines.

At Napo Amazon Lodge, we take your privacy seriously.

Information We Collect: We collect personal information such as your name, contact details, passport information, payment information, dietary requirements, health information, and any other information you provide when booking.

How We Use Your Information: We use your information to process bookings, provide services, communicate with you, ensure your safety, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, both parties agree to resolve them amicably through negotiation with open and transparent communication. Should negotiation fail, parties may opt for mediation or arbitration.

Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ecuador.

Modifications: Napo Amazon Lodge / Tena Lodge reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
